Zakopane

At the foot of the Tatra Mountains, 100 km south from Cracow, there lies Zakopane - a Polish capital of winter sports and the best known holiday resort in Poland. The town attracts many tourist both in winter and summer. Our tour begins with a ride on a cable railway on Gubalowka, from where we will be able to admire the panorama of the Tatra Mountains and take a stroll on the peak of the mountain. Next we will go back to the town, the oldest part of Zakopane, which will lead us to old mountain cottages. In order to feel the unique atmosphere of Zakopane in full, we will take a walk along Krupowki, a promenade full of shops, restaurants, tea and coffee shops. Then we will go to the Tatra Museum and to Chocholow - a wooden village, resembling a heritage park.
