Mile invites you to take a trip around Warsaw, which is a capital city of Poland, as well as an important political, scientific, cultural and economic centre. In Warsaw there is a seat of the parliament, the president and the central authorities.

Warsaw is a unique city, it intrigues tourists with its history and unique atmosphere, it surprises with its otherness. It is a place where the influences of the Western and Eastern Europe intermingle. We do encourage you to visit this city full of contrasts. The historic sites of Warsaw and its keepsakes from the past were appreciated by UNESCO, which caused the Warsaw Old town to be honoured with an entry in a list of the World Cultural Heritage.

Tour No. 1 (10 hours)

One-day trip around Warsaw, during which you will be able to see places like:
  1. The Old Town, which is included in the list of the World Cultural Heritage UNESCO - it was reconstructed after the destruction of the World War II after the year 1945,
  2. The Royal Castle on the Castle Square, a seat of monarchs since 1596 until 1795,
  3. St. John's Cathedral where there are sarcophaguses with the ashes of distinguished Poles,
  4. The Old Town Market Square and the Barbican,
  5. The Royal Tract, with numerous aristocratic mansions and famous monuments. There is also the Holy Cross Church, holding urns with the ashes of hearts of Frederick Chopin (1810-1849) and Wladyslaw Reymont (1868-1925),
  6. Royal lazienki Parki, the most beautiful park in Warsaw and the interiors of the Palace on the Water , a summer residence of the king of Poland, Stanislaw August Poniatowski (1764-95),
  7. Other important sites in Warsaw: Tomb of an Unknown Soldier, Monument of the Warsaw Uprising of 1944 and Monument for the Killed in the East.

Tour No. 2 (3-4 hours) Jewish heritage

  1. Former territory of the ghetto,
  2. Monument of the Uprising in the Ghetto,
  3. Umschlagplatz, Jewish cemetery,
  4. Nozyk synagogue,
  5. Museum of the Jewish Culture,
  6. Jewish Cemetery,
  7. Orphanage and statue of Janusz Korczak.

Tour No. 3 (5 hours)

  1. Visiting the Wilanow Gardens,
  2. Drive to the Royal lazienki Park, stroll around the park, visiting the palace on the Water,
  3. Drive along the Royal Tract (Ujazdowskie Avenues, Nowy Swiat, Krakowskie Przedmiescie), Pilsudskiego Square and Theatre Square to the Old Town, sightseeing the Old and New Town, visiting the Royal Castle.

Tour No. 4 Following the Traces of Frederick Chopin (all day)

The tour begins in Warsaw in the Museum of Frederick Chopin, whose collections include over 5 thousand units and it is the largest existing collection devoted to Chopin in the world. Then you will go to the Holy Cross Church, where there is an urn with Chopin's heart, and then you will be taken to the Royal lazienki Park to see a statue of Frederick Chopin. Next we will go to zelazowa Wola, ca. 50 km away from Warsaw, which is a place where Chopin was born. The mansion is surrounded with a park organized in the period 1932-1939 according to a design by Franciszek Krzywda Polkowski. Nearby there is a statue of the composer, made by Jozef Goslawski. Next we will go to Brochow, where in a 16th century parish church Chopin's parents got married (1806) and Frederick was baptized.
